Leading design for SQUIRE, the $750M operating system for barbershops

Key highlights
One app that runs the whole barbershop

A barber's day runs on bookings, payments and repeat clients. One app had to handle all of it.
SQUIRE is the operating system for modern barbershops. It helps barbers run their entire business, from bookings and payments to inventory and marketing. SQUIRE Commander puts all of that into a single app that a barber uses between two clients, often with one hand.
I owned the design of the iOS and Android apps for barbers and their customers, and led the design team working with leadership and engineering. As part of the discovery team, I used interviews, analytics and usability testing to find where booking and checkout were slowing people down, then redesigned those flows first.

“Robin demonstrated exceptional design skills and a strong work ethic, contributing significantly to our team's success. Robin's creativity and attention to detail were invaluable, and I highly recommend Robin for any future endeavors.”
Getting paid is part of the same flow

Booking a cut takes a few taps Add-ons and checkout included

Rated 4.8 by the barbers who use it every day.
SQUIRE Commander became the tool barbers keep open through the whole working day, with bookings, checkout and payouts in one place. The same design system carries the product across iPhone, Android and iPad.
Stripe featured the app in its official commercial as an example of modern product design and payments working together.

That was one product.
Yours could be next.
